What should I look for when choosing a general dentist in El Cajon?

Look for a dentist who is actively licensed in California and has recent continuing‑education in preventive care. Check reviews for punctuality, gentle technique, and clear communication about treatment plans. Confirm that the office accepts your insurance, offers convenient hours, and provides a clean, organized environment.

How do I evaluate a cosmetic dentist’s work?

Review before‑and‑after photos of procedures similar to what you want, such as veneers or whitening. Patient testimonials that mention natural results and comfortable experiences are valuable. Verify that the dentist holds additional training in cosmetic dentistry and uses up‑to‑date materials and technology.

What questions should I ask an orthodontist before starting treatment?

Ask about the types of appliances they recommend and the expected duration of treatment. Inquire whether they use clear aligners, traditional braces, or a combination, and how often visits will be required. Request information on cost, insurance coverage, and any financing options they provide.
